Convocation 2006 of the Hindustan Group of institutions was held on 22 July 2006 at MGR Hall, Hindustan College of Engineering. The Chief Guest Dr.Baldev Raj, Director, Indira Gandhi Center for Atomic Research (IGCAR), Kalpakkam delivered the Graduation Day address. On the Convocation Day, the Hindustan Group of Institutions presented the Eminent Entrepreneur Award to Capt.G.R.Gopinath, Managing Director, Air Deccan for his remarkable success in the Airlines Industry in India.
